OSO Artist Submission Page

Are you an active duty or veteran member of the U.S. Armed Forces and have dreams of being a recording artist, performer, or songwriter?  Do you know a Talented Troop that would love an opportunity to pursue their musical dreams?  If so, go to (or have them go to) the Submissions page here at OperationSoundOff.com and fill out the form.  We are constantly searching for talented men and women who are serving or who have served our country.

Operation: Sound Off! is not a talent contest.  It is a project designed with one goal: to give back to the members of the Armed Forces by providing music industry opportunities they may not otherwise have.  We at OSO believe our military men and women have sacrificed to provide us the very freedom to chase our dreams.  We want to return the favor.  They've earned it!

Everyone here at Operation: Sound Off! would like to send our deepest and heartfelt "Thank You" to all the men and women who have served in our Armed Forces. It's your sacrifices that provide us all the freedom we enjoy day after day.

Let's all take pride in our fellow brothers and sisters who have answered the call of duty. Take time to thank them when you have the opportunity. Not just today, but everyday.

Operation: Sound Off! Finishes 156th in Pepsi Refresh Campaign

The Pepsi Refresh contest for August has now come to an end. Operation: Sound Off! (OSO) finished 156th out of 1231 possible grant recipients. They will now re-submit their application for October's voting period.

"I won't lie, it would've been nice to receive the grant," admitted co-founder, Scotty Huff, "but we are tremendously thankful for the opportunity and mostly for all the wonderful supporters who voted for us every day. We never had a day that we didn't move up the chart. That means people were voting every day."

"We knew the Pepsi grant was a long shot, " adds co-founder, Robert Reynolds. "OSO will continue on regardless. The challenge now is to find the funding we need to provide the opportunities these men and women have earned."

Only 2 Days Left for Operation: Sound Off! to Win Pepsi Refresh Grant

This months Pepsi Refresh contest is drawing to a close. Voting ends at midnight, tomorrow night (tuesday Aug 31st). Operation: Sound Off! (http://www.operationsoundoff.com/) is currently 158th out of a possible 1231 projects in it's category.

"It's a long way to the top 2 positions," admits OSO co-founder, Scotty Huff, "but we still have a chance to reach the top 100. If we do that, then our project rolls into next months voting. Otherwise, we're out of the running and have to start the application process all over again.

"The upside," Huff continued, "is that this Pepsi opportunity has given us a platform to get the word out about Operation: Sound Off! This project will live on beyond this competition. Our service men and woman have earned it."

To cast your vote, visit www.refresheverything.com/operationsoundoff daily. You can also text 101861 to 73774 (PEPSI) from your mobile phone.

Operation: Sound Off! Is Climbing Up The Pepsi Refresh Charts

Operation: Sound Off! has pulled out all the stops in their effort to drive votes for their chance at a $250K Pepsi Refresh Grant. They're beginning to show a quicker climb towards the top of their category, but still have a long way to go.

"We broke the 200 mark this morning," shared OSO co-founder, Scotty Huff. "We've had a wonderful response from people. Many of whom are voting everyday. We hate to pester people by emailing, texting, and Tweeting everyday. Actually, nobody seems to mind. Once they realize how valuable this project is and how far reaching the opportunities can be, they don't seem to mind lending a vote."

Operation: Sound Off! Hits The Press To Help Win Pepsi Refresh Grant

As the month of August rolls along, the founders of Operation: Sound Off! (OSO) are stepping up their campaign to encourage people to vote for OSO at www.refresheverything.com/operationsoundoff in order to win a $250K Pepsi Refresh Grant.  Their application was approved by Pepsi on August 1st, and is now up for votes until the end of the month.  Only the Top 2 contestants in the $250K category will be awarded the grant. OSO entered the competition with the ranking of 408th out of 1,231 projects in their category. As of this writing, they have moved up to 264th.

"We're very happy with our progress so far," say Scotty Huff, co-founder of OSO, "but we have a long way to go.  We're trying everything to keep the momentum up and increase awareness without annoying people."

Operation: Sound Off! was created by Grammy Award winner, Robert Reynolds, and music producer/arranger, Scotty Huff, in an effort to give back to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.  The project provides recording and performing opportunities to those active and veteran troops with musical aspirations they put on hold in order to serve their country.  This effort will include recording, concert tours and other performance opportunities, distribution of digital downloads and "best of" CD's, as well as an episode television production.

"We've started production, but our biggest hurdle is funding.  This Pepsi Refresh Grant would be just the shot in the arm the project needs," added Huff. "We encourage everyone to vote daily to help fulfill the dreams of those who fight for ours."

Look for a press release to all major media outlets today, upcomming interviews with the OSO artists and founders, and new updates as they happen.  Visit http://www.operationsoundoff.com/ to learn more about the project and keep up to date.

Help Operation: Sound Off! Win a Pepsi Refresh Grant

Grammy Award winner Robert Reynolds and Producer/Arranger Scotty Huff are seeking your support by voting for their Pepsi Refresh Grant entry for their Operation: Sound Off! (OSO) project at www.refresheverything.com/operationsoundoff.

In an effort to give back to the men and women serving our country in the armed forces, and to help them with physical trauma and issues like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, OSO was created to give our troops the opportunity to record their music, tell their stories, and achieve any musical dreams they set aside to protect our very freedom to dream.

With the team in place, led by Huff and Reynolds, the only thing holding the project back now is funding.  The Pepsi Refresh project will be the very thing to jump start this nobel effort.  Please visit the link above and vote daily.  Competition is tough, so please tell your friends, or use the available widgets and links to Facebook and Twitter to help spread the word.

OSO will change lives. Please help Fulfill The Dreams Of Those Who Fight For Ours.

Thank you!
